When living in California, Alec and I took every opportunity to travel especially to Hawaii since there wasn't as large of a time change + was a much shorter flight. Check out all of our recommendations when traveling to the beautiful, abundant state of Hawaii.

  • Joey's Kitchen- great spot for a quick lunch in Whalers Village with affordable Hawaiian + Asian inspired food.

  • Huihui- brand new restaurant located inside the Sheraton hotel with the most incredible Polynesian inspired food right on the beach. Highly recommend a night time reservation for the ambiance and romance that is filled in the air at this place.

  • Choice Health Bar- tastiest breakfast spot with the freshest ingredients and best açaí bowls!

  • Monkeypod- one of the best restaurants in Hawaii with multiple locations (great for lunch or dinner) but it is best known for it's fresh + tasty Mai-Tai's.

  • Leilani's On The Beach- another amazing restaurant, good for lunch or dinner, with multiple locations. We enjoyed the one in Whalers Village at sunset and it was breathtaking!

  • Betty's Beach Cafe- serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a beautiful view of the water in Lahaina.
